[OOC] i don't mind if someone who is underage and diagnosed were to interact with me (assuming they are 17 since that's my minimum age-based dni lul). i do want to say that i don't have a problem with either-or, though. the main reason i don't want to engage with undiagnosed systems is because i used to believe i was plural due to severe psychosis a few years back. this entire "situation" was only worsened because my at-the-time friends were actively encouraging it. i don't want to be the guy to feed into some teenager's delusion as i know that the aftermath is not great (still fighting off the identity crisis that time of my life has stirred up for me). obviously, i'm not saying *everyone* who suspects plurality is delusional, but i know there's a lot of people out there who have had similar experiences to mine. if i can avoid involving myself in these potential scenarios, i will. i'm generally pro-self diagnosis (so long as personal research has been done), and i know that there are people who have been below 18 diagnosed with did. however the disorder, in most cases, is diagnosed super late into people's lives (as late as 20-30 years old) because of how gimmicky it is due to adolescent development + trauma masking. because of this i don't really *expect* people claiming to be plural below the age of 18 to be diagnosed, if that makes sense. sorry for the yap i just think this is rather important as a lot of people have asked me this in the past and got the wrong idea/called me ableist for "hating on plural people" LMAO
